PP v. ZULKIFLI ARSHAD
The Respondent was charged with, convicted and sentenced to death by the Muar High court on 23/04/2004 on two charges of trafficking in dangerous drugs contrary to section 39(B)(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 ("the Act").
The first charge relates to trafficking in 5796.7 grammes of cannabis in a "Nike" bag found at the rear passenger seat of car registration No. JCQ 2852 driven by the Respondent at about 1.00 a.m. on 27/01/2001, at Km 10 Jalan Kluang, Batu Pahat, Johore.
The second charge relates to trafficking in 3867.2 grammes of cannabis found in the 3rd room of a house No. PS31-3, Parit Senkuang, Jalan Kluang, Sri Gading on 27/01/2001 at about 1.00a.m.
Mahkamah Persekutuan kekalkan sabitan hukuman kes di atas.
Pagi td dengar berita radio ada suami minta tolong kerajaan Malaysia bebaskan isteri beliau yg ditahan mengedar dadah di Australia. Katanya isteri dipaksa 2 lelaki afrika menelan dadah tsb sblm naik kapal terbang.so, kerajaan ..nak tolong tak?
